This all-in-one starter kit allows you to create thin, professional-grade decals that conform to curved and irregular surfaces. Unlike stickers, waterslide transfers have no "edge" profile, giving your project a factory-finished look. This kit is specifically optimized for inkjet printers and includes the mandatory acrylic sealer required to waterproof your designs before application.
Which Sheet Color Is Right?
Clear Decal Base
Best for white or very light-colored surfaces. The background is transparent, letting the surface color show through your design for a seamless "painted-on" look.
White Decal Base
Essential for dark or black surfaces (like a dark coffee mug). It provides a solid white backing so your colors remain vibrant and don't disappear into the dark background.
The "Print, Spray, Soak, Slide" Workflow
- Print: Print your design on the glossy side of the decal sheet.
- Seal: Spray 2-3 light coats of the included Krylon Acrylic to waterproof the ink. This step is mandatory for inkjet prints.
- Soak: Cut out your design and soak it in warm water for 30–60 seconds.
- Slide: Slide the decal off the backing and onto your surface. Smooth out bubbles and let dry for 24 hours.
💡 Pro-Tip for Model Builders
For a truly integrated look on model cars or planes, apply a final gloss clear coat over the entire object after your decal has dried. This buries the edges of the decal film completely!
